A week with Tumblr
I’ve been using Tumblr for about a week now. I have to say so far it has been great. Sometimes the service is a little slow but I know how that goes when you have a small startup.
I’m one of those people who have tried blogging for many years but it never really took for me. It just takes me too much time to write long essays and to maintain the site myself.
But in the last week I’ve posted to my tumble log a dozen times. From my iPhone, from my desktop, everywhere. Whenever the idea hits me.
It’s awesome. I never considered myself a scrapbooker. Jenna is into that, but I’m not. Then again, tumble logs are supposed to be scrapbooks for blogs. So maybe I’m more of a scrapbooker than I thought…
Anyway, I’m going to stick with the service. I’m leaving okito.net the way it is until the Blog for a Year contest ends and I can take that blog down. Then I will switch this over to be the main site there.
I hope the content I’m posting is interesting to all of you. Give me some feedback. I have comments still. :-) Better yet, link to this blog on your own blog and give me some thoughts.
